Comprehensive exam

Doctoral (integrated) Evaluation of professional knowledge and skills in one’s major in the form of a written or oral exam
(cannot be substituted with oral dissertation examination)
Master’s Evaluation of basic/professional knowledge in one’s major in the form of a written or oral exam

Dissertation evaluation for degree conferral

Candidates who have passed the comprehensive exam after completing minimum required credits of relevant programs, and with recommendation by advisors, may request dissertation evaluation for degree conferral

  • One who has fulfilled credit requirements or is expecting to fulfill such requirements in the pertinent semester pursuant to Article 40 (Credit Requirements by Program) of the Regulations of UST-KRICT School
  • One who has passed the comprehensive exam
  • One recommended by his/her advisor
Doctoral (integrated) One who has passed the doctoral dissertation proposal evaluation
